As a Starbucks barista trainer, I had plenty of resources to guide new hires. However, juggling multiple trainees in a week—sometimes across different locations—meant I needed a more structured approach. To stay organized, I created my own training resources, not just to streamline my process but also to give new hires a clear roadmap. These tools helped them track their progress while providing managers with insight into their learning and any gaps that needed attention.
As a marketing undergrad with a real estate license and an associate degree in business, I’ve approached my studies with a drive to learn and create standout projects. Here are a few of my favorites—each exceeding expectations and earning high praise from professors. One is a research report where I experimented with AI-generated artwork. Another is a consultation for a fictional company on modernizing its ERP systems, which my professor called the best in class and said he’d hire us if it were real. The last is an email blast I created in powerpoint for a new album release that received excellent feedback.
Owning and managing JulianSanchezRealEstate.com gave me the opportunity to experiment with marketing my brand while balancing other priorities beyond real estate. One successful strategy was the Weekend Delights campaign, which highlighted upcoming events in Colorado. This not only provided valuable content beyond real estate but also boosted engagement on social media, attracting attention and positive feedback from followers.
While focusing on my personal finance goals, I explored various budgeting apps and software but found most to be either too expensive or lacking key features I needed. Using my expertise and Excel, I created a simple yet highly effective budget planner with an interactive, visually pleasing dashboard. This system has helped me cut unnecessary spending and increase my savings, with the interactive visuals making tracking progress both engaging and motivating. I’m hoping to launch a self-help YouTube channel to guide others my age, and I’d love to share this Excel workbook as a valuable resource.

My name is Julian Sanchez, and I’m so grateful that you’re taking the time to get to know more about me! :) If you’re in a rush—no stress, I get it—here’s the short version: I’ve always been a hardworking and passionate learner, constantly seeking knowledge so I can grow into a strong leader. My inspiration comes from everywhere—people, nature, infrastructure—you name it. I’m easily jolted by creativity and love to absorb, emulate, and build upon the brilliance of others. My biggest goal in life is to be a source of inspiration for someone, even in the smallest way.
I also have a cat (who is actually my adopted son, but we’ll get into that later). I love the arts—music, charcoal drawing, theater (both movies and musicals). Few things make me happier than walking with my friends and admiring nature together. I’m fascinated by technology, and even though I try to stay mindful of my environmental impact, I can’t help but be drawn to the latest innovations.
In fifth grade, my teacher coined the acronym LLL—Life-Long Learner. I’ve fully adopted that title for myself, thanks Ms. Huppert!! My biggest fear is feeling stuck, so I lean heavily on growth and improvement to keep me moving forward.
